Just curiosity, stories, and shared moments outdoors. Geotrekkerz was founded with a simple idea: nature does not need to impress us; we need to pay attention.
We organise and guide thematic geological hikes, but our goal goes beyond rocks and trails. We aim to pass on a mindset rooted in respect, humility, and love for the natural world. Our hikes encourage participants to observe the landscape, understand natural processes, and reflect on our place as humans within a changing environment. We guide geology hikes primarily in the Swiss Alps, especially in the Glarnerland region and Eastern Switzerland.

Meet us
We are Olivia and Dávid, geologists and earth scientists with extensive research, teaching, and field experience in alpine geology. But beyond our academic background, we are also passionate hikers.
We spend much of our free time in the mountains — exploring trails, observing landscapes, and experiencing the terrain not only as scientists, but as outdoor enthusiasts. This dual perspective shapes our tours: scientifically grounded, yet deeply connected to the real experience of walking through alpine landscapes.
